Lucid Dream

LUCID DREAM

I fly over endless forests.
Beautiful landscapes that I had wished to see somewhere in the real world already existed deep in my mind.
Like a bluebird of a children’s story, I had searched for the beauty here and there without realizing that fact. Although I know that I am dreaming, I often don’t want to awake because of the mysterious landscapes displayed behind my closed eyes. I’m thirsty for finding new beautiful landscapes and reinterpreting them on paper. I just close me eyes and ears and concentrate all of my senses inward to the nearest and remotest place. This forest in my mind, my resting place, I named ‘Timbuktu’. I hope that the ‘Timbuktu’ forest in my dreams can be a resting place for others as well. (Gu NaYoung)
